SHILOH/ ASPECT/ ECLIPSE
W.W. WOOD PRODUCTS LIMITED WARRANTY
W. W. Wood Products, Inc. (“we” or “us”) warrants to the original consumer purchaser (“you”) that our finished and/or laminated Shiloh cabinetry (the “Cabinetry”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential usage for ten (10) years at the Cabinetry’s original site of installation, subject to the terms, exclusions, and conditions below.
This warranty covers only products manufactured by us. This warranty does not cover Cabinetry that is ordered and manufactured unfinished. This warranty does not cover third-party accessories (including, but not limited to, trash roll-outs, pull out spice racks, and mechanical or electrical items such as ventilator power units) that are shipped with our Cabinetry. This warranty is not transferable. A dated receipt as proof of purchase is required to obtain the benefits from this warranty. Further, this warranty is only applicable to our Cabinetry used in residential applications within the United States, and excludes all industrial, commercial, and business usage. Should defects in material or workmanship be shown to exist in our Cabinetry, we, at our sole discretion, will repair or replace any such defective product covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover deterioration due to normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, alteration, mishandling, improper installation, improper storage, failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, water damage, exposure to excessive heat, cold, humidity, or fluctuations in temperature or humidity, damage from flood, fire, earthquake, tornado, or other acts of nature, or from any source or occurrences beyond our control. Cabinetry must be stored and installed in a self-contained environment that maintains year-round environmental controls to prevent exposure to extreme humidity or extreme temperature fluctuations. Failure to maintain these controls will void this warranty. Wood, as well as the finishes and laminates, vary in color and characteristics and will exhibit changes as they age and from normal wear. For example, painted face frames, doors, drawer fronts and other painted products may have visible cracking around joint areas as wood expands and contracts with changes in humidity and temperature. We utilize both solid and veneered wood materials in our products. Due to normal variations in the density and graining of wood itself, the same stain applied to another piece of the same wood species may result in a somewhat different appearance. Further, wood may darken or lighten with time. Light (both natural and man-made), smoke, grease/oils, household cleaners, or other environmental conditions will also affect the color of Cabinetry over time. Additionally, exposure to abrasive chemicals or solvents can cause the finish to fail. These occurrences are considered to be the nature of the materials and are not covered under this warranty. We reserve the right to alter design, specifications, and materials without obligation to make similar changes to products previously manufactured. The repair or replacement is contingent upon the current product offerings and construction within our product line at the time of the warranty claim. As such, we reserve the right to replace affected components with a new component of the same style, or with a component that is of a similar and comparable style within our current product line. If components are replaced, we cannot guarantee that the finish of these replacements will exactly match the finish and appearance of the original components. We make no other warranty of any kind—express or implied. The implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and all other warranties, express or implied, are excluded from this transaction and shall not apply to the goods sold unless the goods are “consumer products” as that term is defined by the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER, AND WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, any shipping costs, removal or installation costs, loss of time, loss of use, loss of revenues, ETC.)
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. To file a warranty claim request, contact the place of business where you originally purchased the product and provide them with a copy of your dated proof of purchase. The original seller will obtain information from you to complete a warranty request and forward the request in writing to us. If you experience difficulty in obtaining assistance from the seller, please provide your information, the nature of the defect, and a copy of your dated proof of purchase to: W. W. Wood Products, Inc., P.O. Box 50, Dudley, MO 63936, Attn: Warranty Department. We may, at our sole discretion, require the product to be returned for inspection, with transportation charges prepaid by you, prior to honoring a claim.
Effective October 1, 2016

WOOD SPECIES
The real beauty of wood comes from the true natural qualities of the wood itself. Wood will vary color from shades of white, red, brown, green, to almost black. Grain variations of solid hardwood and veneers will vary slightly from wild to nearly straight in appearance. Solid wood panels naturally expand and contract with normal humidity changes due to interior heating and cooling. These characteristics are what makes wood beautiful, and distinct in character…W. W. Wood Products Inc does not warrant or under any circumstances consider color, graining, or minimal shrinkage a defect in material or workmanship.
Characteristics Of Cherry:
Cherry is a close grained multicolored hardwood which can contain pin knots, and grain variations appearing as waves and curls. Small sap pockets, mineral streaks, and white sap wood are also typical and are not considered defects. Color varies from pale yellow to deep reddish brown with some shades of white, pink, and even grey. Dark stains conceal some color variations, but there may be differences within a single door or drawer front. Cherry is extremely susceptible to mellowing and darkening with exposure to light. This is a beautiful and unique quality of the wood and is not considered a defect. Special attention and explanations must be used in clarifying this characteristic to potential customers. Door samples must be regularly updated to match current shades.
Characteristics Of Maple:
Maple is a finely grained wood with an even texture which can contain small mineral streaks, wavy or burl graining, as well as worm tracking. These are typical characteristics and are not considered defects. Color varies from creamy white, light blond, to dark reddish tones, and is susceptible to mellowing and darkening with exposure to light. Dark stains conceal some color variations, but there may be differences within a single door or drawer front. Door samples must be regularly updated to match current shades.
Characteristics Of Hickory:
Hickory is a heavy, strong hardwood with well pronounced grain, and open pores with a coarse texture. Hickory is known for its drastic color variations which range from white, to reddish brown, to dark brown. Hickory is susceptible to mellowing and darkening with exposure to light. Extreme variation in color and grain is expected within a single door or drawer front, and is not a reason for replacement. Door samples must be regularly updated to match current shades.
Characteristics Of Oak:
Oak is a heavy, hard and durable wood with very well pronounced grain, and open pores with a coarse texture. Oaks natural color ranges from white to brown and reddish brown, and is susceptible to mellowing and darkening with exposure to light. Dark stains conceal some color variations, but there may be differences within a single door or drawer front. Door samples must be regularly updated to match current shades.
Characteristics Of Alder (Clear):
Alder is a medium density hardwood with soft, straight grain, and even texture. Alders natural color ranges from pale yellow to reddish brown, and may contain small pin knots. Small dents on non-distressed Alder will be considered characteristic markings and not defects. End grain tear out is typical in the machining of alder. This tear out may appear rough, porous, or starved for finish. This may, or may not appear on samples. Tear out will not be cause for replacement. Door samples must be regularly updated to match current shades.
Characteristics Of Select American Poplar:
Select American Poplar is a fine grained hardwood with straight and lightly figured grain patterns. The selected material is light cream to tan in color. In select varieties, heavy green or mineral are defected out, however, some light green, or small amounts of mineral streaks may be present. These subtle color variations add character to the wood.
CABINET CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Basic Cleaning:
Wipe with a dampened, lint-free cotton cloth and promptly wipe dry. For removal of oil, grease, or daily spills, you may use a solution of mild soap and water, then dry promptly with a soft, lint free cotton cloth. Avoid using a dishcloth or sponge to clean cabinet surfaces as it may contain remnant of harsh detergents that can harm the finish. Do not use ammonia-based cleaners, soaps with dye, abrasive cleaners, or self-polishing waxes (especially those that contain silicone). We recommend the use of a quality cream furniture polish, such as Guardsman® furniture polish.
Wipe Spills Promptly:
It is very important to keep the cabinet surfaces dry. Wipe up spills immediately using a dry cloth with a “blotting” motion, rather than wiping the spill from the cabinet surface. Pay special attention to areas where water is common, such as the sink and dishwasher, and do not allow water and detergents to dry on the cabinet surface.
Avoid Excessive Moisture:
This is one of the worst enemies of any finish. Avoid draping wet towels over cabinet doors. Do not attach towel racks to door interiors and do not place coffee or tea makers where the steam will directly impact cabinet surfaces. Immediately dry off any areas where water has spilled.
Avoid Excessive Heat:
Avoid placing cabinet appliances where the heat is directed onto cabinet surfaces. The stability of the wood and finish can be negatively impacted.
Avoid Abrasives:
Never use scouring pads, steel wool, or powdered cleaners as these methods of cleaning may penetrate the surface, allowing food or moisture to enter and cause deterioration of the finish.
Final Thoughts:
Wood products and their finish are only as good as the care they receive. Proper care such as we recommend will extend the life and beauty of your cabinetry. Remember, leaving water or other moisture on the cabinet surface for extended periods of time will harm the finish and will not be covered under any warranties.
